Sermons

The purpose of our sermons is to clearly and practically unpack the Bible. We usually do this by systematically going through books of the Bible. This is sometimes referred to as expository preaching.

Those who preach (mainly our pastor, Scott) do this in line with Paul’s command to Timothy:

Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction.

-2 Timothy 4:2

These are not academic lectures or the opinions of the speaker; instead these talks are given - from the Bible - in order to show us more of the glory of God and how that should affect our day-to-day lives.

We upload sermons here for those inside our church family who may have missed them because of helping with children’s church or being away, or those who want to see what the teaching here is like before visiting. We firmly believe that the best place to listen to a sermon is with God’s people, gathered in our local church.
